Why Some Readers Leave An Altricle Halfway Through?

Short Article Writing Tips

Lucas Hoang

Ever wondered why some articles do better than others.

Knowing your readers might help. Who wants to read short articles? When are they reading it? What is their expectation from such short reads?

These questions probably have the part of the solution. Readers find it satisfying to spend their time reading short articles during commutes, breaks, or waiting. They are the people who wish to get a quick thought to savour.

So most of them want a breeze, easy to read stuff. "Can we get to the good part" is the expectation. Quick thoughts to think, implement, test, try and more often quote.

Professor "Willim Struk Jr's" in his book  "Element of Style," says. Avoid all details and treat subjects only in outline, but ensure that every word tells. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words for the same reason that a drawing shouldn't have any extra lines.

Your Readers are anxious and impatient consumers. Write short sentences that tell more reduce the descriptions or build-ups. Don't flaunt vocabulary; you'll lose your readers intrest.

Making a prejudgement of the reader's technical literary comprehension is a big mistake. When quoting a technical term, don't use industry jargon or abbreviations. Write the complete form with a brief description.

Conclusion
Understand how and where your customer will consume your article.
No sentence to have a word more, just as a drawing can't have an extra line
Please keep it simple, fast pace to retain the customer intrest.
